So I had a bit of a mad one…

You ever get you pay check and realise you’ve been looking at pretty and nice things for a long time… and somehow you just buy them all?

Yeah I pretty much bought my weight in eyelashes…
This update would have come sooner, but for one I was waiting for all the stuff to arrive and two my phone got stolen from work. So I had no chance to post the pictures of the thing I have purchased thus far~

But anyway better late than never.

So yes! I did get my skin care as planned!
Most of it is from superdrugs and or eBay~
But here is a picture and a small list of what I have;

Superdrug Vitamin E Facial Scrub
Superdrug Mud Mask Invigorating Raspberry
Garnier Clean & Invigorating Toner
Garnier Clean & Soft Complete Cleansing Milk

I also got hold of a bag sized BB cream - SKIN79 ABSOLUTE TOTAL BB Cream

So aside from a few choice missing items, I pretty much have secured my skin routine, I moisturise every morning, before putting on my GOSH Primer and then a touch of my bb cream. After that it’s the usual foundation, concealer, and powder combination.

Once the day is done, it all comes off, with make up wipes, eye remove, cleanser, facial wash, toner, ampoule and moisturiser. Then I do my mud mask one a week and a nose strip when I see little bumps on my nose when I brush my powder on.

All and all, I am not having any bad effects with the combination of products. I sometimes get this hard comodome blemishes on my cheek bone, and they cant be squeezed or really go away, but the suddenly disappear and reappear as they feel.
But recently with this routine, it’s been making these spots have heads, so I can steam and extract them. So I guess that’s a good thing since they are gone now.

So on to my other purchases, like I said I bought my weight in eyelashes. Now allot of people swear by brands. Since I am poor and have been for a while. I am quite content in buying cheaper clothing and products. Because if you know what you are looking for you find that most brand names and store names are made from the exact same thing.

So I didn’t get named eyelashes or under lashes. I went for quantity/quality. And was amazed to find out that the quality I bought was fantastic! So my lashes are from Hong Kong and I have to use an eyelash curler, to make my eyes pop, but overall it’s been pretty good~ my under lashes were from a UK seller. 5 for £4 so it really was a bargain!

On to the things I didn’t say I would buy…

So there is a 20 peace goat hair makeup brush set…. Yes they are pink; no I didn’t really need them right now. But the brushes where very good quality and very soft that I couldn’t resist. My brushes which I have had since I did my beauty therapy courses where starting to get a bit dog eared. Not to mention most where starting to fall off their sticks.

Then there were the 88 nude warm palettes. Now I love sleek, recently they have just had an explosion of new pallets and at £6 a pop I really couldn’t just go mad like normal. But I am sure everyone is familiar with tamanala, well I ordered both my brushes from them and this palette.

It took a bit of time, but they arrived in one piece so I couldn’t complain. But then I opened it and it turned out it wasn’t my warn nude palette. It was bright and colourful and well, nice but I wanted natural shades like my sleek sunset palette!
But I contacted them and they apologised, sent me another nude warm and let me keep the mistake as a gift! Who could complain with that! So although I didn’t get my palette I got a freebie and my palette is on my way.

Ahhh wigs… I love hairpieces of all types. By hair while not afro, is naturally curly, in ringlets. It takes me 4 hours to wash, dry and straighten it. And then any moisture or wind and it usually messes 4 hours of work. So usually I just straighten it once and then let it do what it wants. Making up for the loss of tameable locks with a hair piece. So I got a few Japanese wigs~ which you can see in my newest gallery photos.

Then its a few bits and bobs, like perfume (harajuku lovers – love) some gel eyeliners oh and I got the bed canopy for my room!

So yes it’s been an eventful month, I am certainly looking forward to next payday~
I think I am going to blow it on clothes and shoes this time. I am certainly in need of some new shoes and clothes!
But i do have my eye on some more eyelashes….. And maybe some circle lenses~
I shouldn’t plan, as you can see from the last one I did sooooo badly

Have a great week guys

Home is where the harthstone is

I am sure I recently mentioned that I moved, it was a pretty big move actually. In london there is the river thames and I moved from South London to East London.

Its like two different worlds, omg!

But the whole plan to look after myself thing, also has to do with living conditions (my previous ones were so bad, when I left, I couldn't help but write this on the wall)

But no the new place is much cleaner and nice, but up until recently didn't feel like home, then I acquired this!

Its brown, but so is my bed and my screen and my wardrobe etc etc~

I wanted a black and white bedroom honestly, and if you haven't notice my blog is also black and white... I like black and white! I spent a few hours looking for some inspirational things to get from my room, but with all the brown furniture it would throw it completely off...

But then I found this.
In that moment I realised that actually; this isn't so bad and I really like it (not to mention my furniture isn't that dark)
Also some of my favourite rooms, I have seen have been friends rooms. Where nothing matches and its all just a jumble of collectables that represent them and their lives (i've never had a room like that)

So now what? I get some black curtains, put a nice lamp shade up?
Get a mosquito net (yes every girl need a bed canopy, i don't care how old you are, there is one for grownups too!)
I also found [This] on eBay, i was thinking of sewing the rose garland around the top of my canopy and maybe making some pretty ties with them. I may not be a pink girl, but I still like femine and pretty... just not pink.

Oh! I need this in my life too!

After all i may live in heels, love my eyelashes and would die for a designer bag...
But at the end of the day i am just a huge geek, its ok if you don't know what above plushie is, i forgive you

You have a new team member!

So i have just acquired a oneechan! a gal older sister~ yay~
I will do a blog link to her later, but i am still getting all set up so i am sure she will forgive me for not giving her a definite shoutout~

But i think we have bonded, she is nice and helpful and already has stuck me on my path of what to do next. I am waiting for payday...
Its on the 20th and then i can go and start acquiring things for my transformation, my Onee has been excellent in giving me suggestions, and this blog post is also inspired by her.

In marketing, we are always given goals, targets and things to achieve in our week/month/year i don't see why life has to be so different. So that's what i am going to do.
As much as i would like to blow my entire pay cheque on products and make up, it isnt ideal. i have bills to pay after all~

I think the best way to do this is in a chronological list of short term goals

Start to my work out and eating regime (buy a rice cooker and make bento lunches instead of having subway )

Go to the salon and get my eyebrows fixed (because brows are the frames to your face)

Invest in a skin care range (Because every artist knows that the best painting comes a good well prepare canvas)

Invest in a collection of Japanese Eyelashes (because the ones i am using at the moment are not dramatic enough nor good quality)

Replace Ran out make up. (i need a new primer, a pen eyeliner and a new setting powder)

Hmm i think that has everything covered, not only that but i need new work shoes and clothes.
Do you have a plan for changes you want to make in your life this year?

→[Start New Game]

Hmm I think this is a little more daunting than when I made my first beauty blog~
Because this time, its more “hey look at me and judge me!” I don’t think any one likes to be judged...

So my name is Harumi (my friends and Family call me HaruKei). 23, I am mixed race, Japanese/White/Caribbean. Born in Uji-shi. And a Gal in the making.

I've created this blog one one main purpose, to keep a written track record of my transition from normal Harumi to Gal Harumi~
Why? Well that is because over the years, I’ve neglected myself and very very recently Fallen sick with Pneumonia, nothing says “sort your life out Gal!” like a life threatening illness
So here I am~

A second reason is that I also want to help girls like myself, they might be a little bit older (like myself), have a strong family influence on their lives (my mum!) and generally not had a good time and want a dramatic rebel change!
From what I’ve seen ,most do go for the Gyaru change (I’ve done a whole year research on Gyaru lifestyle)
And while approaching a a developed popular gal is daunting, reading a few blogs, guides and watching a you tube video or two really doesn’t answer that one important question... “where do I start when my entire life needs a overhaul!

So here you are the Harumi project! Learn from my mistakes and don’t judge me for them~
because I am sure all Gal's out there have made them.

So click start, skip the opening CG and lets start this new game!
